ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night!
So friends, I am seriously SO excited for you to meet today’s guest. Our guest for today’s episode is my new friend Danielle Bayard Jackson. Danielle is a certified friendship coach (talk about the best job title ever!!) and a national speaker who works to teach women how to create and maintain better female friendships.
And I just have to say, Danielle is incredible. Get out a pen and a piece of paper, because you’re going to want to take notes during this episode. Just trust me.
In this episode, I asked Danielle some of the trickiest questions about friendship. These are things I know so many of us are dealing with, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that we have NO idea how to navigate this.
I brought her things like:
It seems like everybody already has a best friend. I’d really love to have a best friend, but I just don’t have one. Is that bad?
I used to be really close to one of my friends, but it feels like our friendship has changed and faded over the years, and I’m not sure what to do about it.
How do you know when it’s time for a friendship to end, and how do you go about ending it?
What do you do when you’re in a friendship that feels one-sided — when you feel like you’re always the one putting in the most effort?
I always feel like I’m the odd one out. In every friend group, I feel like the extra — like I never fully belong, like I’m never fully chosen. It’s TERRIBLE! What do I do about this?
How do I find my people and create long-lasting friendships?
And that’s just the beginning.
You guys, if you’re walking through something tricky in one of your friendships, or if you’re just wishing you had better, closer friendships at this point in your life, this episode is for you.
