Today, I’m sharing a conversation I had a few seasons ago with Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith. Saundra is a Board-Certified internal medicine physician, speaker, and author. In her book, Sacred Rest, she highlights seven types of rest that we need to have if we’re going to be productive, happy, and if we’re ever going to stop feeling so burned out. And that’s exactly what we’re talking about today!

Friends, rest is not a luxury. It’s an essential part of our lives, and Saundra is going to teach us exactly how to make that a reality with some practical tips that are totally doable. She’ll also explain the difference between getting a good night's sleep and getting rest because they’re actually two separate things. That’s why you can get a good night's sleep and still feel totally burned out, empty, and cranky the next day.
