ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night!

Friends, I’m SO excited to be back for Season 19 of The Girls Night Podcast! We’re kicking off the season with a solo episode! I’m talking about New Year’s resolutions, or lack thereof (More about that in the episode!) and how to ask for help this year!

Here’s the thing, I love a reset as much as anybody, a fresh start. But the expectation that it all needs to happen on the first day of a new year is a lot of pressure. (And leaves you feeling like you’ve already failed just two weeks in). So today I’m sharing what I do instead!

Along with that, we’re talking about what it looks like to ask for help in the new year and why it’s one of the most important things you can do for yourself!

Oh, and make sure you stick around until the end of the conversation, because I will be sharing a super exciting announcement about the podcast that you won’t want to miss!

Welcome to Season 19, friends!!

Questions to ask yourself when figuring out where you need help:

  • What area of your life hasn’t been going the way you want it to? In what area of your life are you having a hard time getting to where you want to go? What area of your life have you done everything you know how to do and it just hasn’t made a difference?

  • What do you HATE doing? Is there anything in your life or your relationship or your calendar that you really really don’t want to do, but you have to do? Can you ask for help with that? What would it cost?

  • Is there an area of your life where you want to grow, and you could use someone pushing you?

  • Mentally and emotionally, is there something where you’re getting stuck? What would it look like to not be stuck there anymore?

Quote from Stephanie:

"Strength isn't proving that I can do it on my own, it's knowing that I don't have to"
