ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Hey friends! Welcome to Girls’ Night!

Today we’re officially kicking off Season 12 of the Girls Night Podcast, and I’m so happy to be back! Especially because this season we’re doing something we’ve never done before. For the next 12 weeks, I’m going to be sharing some of my very favorite past Girls Night episodes.

If you’re new around here, I’m so excited to share these episodes with you! These are some of my very favorite episodes we’ve ever done and I can’t wait for you to hear them.

If you’ve been a Girls Night listener for a while, I’m so glad to get to dive back into these topics together. If you’re anything like me, you listen to an amazing podcast episode, but then several months or a year goes by and you totally forget about it. These are messages I know we all need to hear right now, and I’m so glad we get to revisit them!

So with that said, today we’re talking about how to stay close to your friends even when you’re in different stages of life.

This is such an important topic. It’s something I know we all have struggled with! And I couldn’t think of better people to talk through this than my very best friends: Michelle, Kelsey, and Shannon.

I loved getting to talk about this topic with these three, because this is something we've been navigating for almost a decade. We've been in all different seasons of life and all at different times: Single, dating, married, no kids, kids, and we've stayed close through it all.

In this episode, we're going to share with you how we've done it.

We’ll talk about…

✨ What to do when you’re single and your friends are getting married

✨ How to navigate having kids when your friends don’t have kids yet

✨ What to do when your friends are pregnant or having kids and you're not

✨ How to handle a long-distance friendship

⠀

✨ What to do when it feels like your friends aren’t prioritizing you as much as they used to

✨ 5 tips we’ve learned along the way to help us get through these different seasons of friendship

✨ And so much more!

My hope is that this episode helps start conversations between you and your girlfriends that are connective and healing and that help your friendships stay strong for decades to come. 💕💕💕

Just a fair warning, we cry in this episode, my friends also tease me a lot in this episode, which is very much to be expected, and we laugh a LOT. I did my very best — through shooting them warning looks, and through editing to keep this from being a full hour of us just giggling together. But I could only do so much. So just be warned. This is girls’ night to the max.
